CNC Machinist at Coeur D Alene

Job Description

Job Classification: Contract This individual will be working in a Manufacturing environment primarily setting up and operating lathes and swiss screw machines. This individual will be working with many different materials and tolerances. He or she will also be editing G and M codes, performing set ups, and may be doing some programming in MasterCam. He or she will be working with Fanuc controls and also using measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers. The most qualified candidate should have at least two (2) years working with CNC machines in a manufacturing environment. Experience working on Swiss Style Lathe machines or CNC lathes is preferred. This individual must have experience with operating machines, editing codes, and programming this type of machine recently. Experience with editing G and M codes is required, and experience programming machines with MasterCam is preferred. He or she should have experience working with different materials and tolerances. This individual must be detail oriented and be able to multi task and work in a high pressure environment. He or she must also have experience working with measuring instruments including micrometers and calipers. This position is a full time 180 day contract to hire position. This position has a wage of $14-$18/hr.
