Backup Admin -TSM candidate

Currently looking for a Backup Admin -TSM candidate (Tivoli Storage Manager) role in Boise, ID Work Location: in Boise, ID.Storage and Backup L3Job Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain a large and complex backup environment using technologies such as IBM Tivoli Storage Manager and Microsoft Data Protection Manager.
• Design, implement, manage, and monitor a large complex storage environment.
• Specify and document technical configurations for SAN/NAS and Backup service offerings
• Provide technical leadership to storage and backup support team members.
• Provision storage and perform associative tasks such as zoning, LUN sizing, RAID Group creation and volume configuration.
• Provision SAN fiber channel switches and perform associative tasks to allow for connectivity.
• Provide performance and tuning consultation and direction to L4 and Service Owner.
• Provide procedural documentation for defined service offerings
• Apply extensive storage and backup experience to bring best practices and recommendations to L4 and Service Owner

Qualifications:8 –  years of Storage and Backup experience

• Extensive experience working in fast-paced,high-availability storage environment
• Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal and technical skills
• Experience in SAN, Business Continuity and Backup and Recovery service offerings
• Extensive knowledge of EMC SAN, IBM TSM, Netapp NAS/SAN, Hitachi HDS, Microsoft DPM
• AIX, Linux, Solaris, Windows, MSSQL, Oracle administration skills a plus
