Duties and Responsibilities

To provide nursing care at the delegation of a licensed professional nurse (RN), Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP) pursuant to rules established by the Board of Nursing, in collaboration with members of the health care team in the ongoing assessment, planning and treatment of patients and families.  The stability of the patient’s environment, the patient’s clinical state and the predictability of the outcome, determines the degree of direction and supervision that must be provided to the licensed practical nurse (LPN).  To utilize resources wisely while promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.  Maintain accurate and complete documentation of nursing services.The LPN shall be personally accountable and responsible for all actions taken in carrying out nursing activities and adheres to the decision-making model set forth by the State Board of Nursing.  RequirementsMinimum Qualifications

• Licensed in the State of Idaho as a Licensed Practical Nurse is required.
• Current Healthcare provider BLS certification by the American Heart Association is required.
• One year experience required.
