Job: Nursing Support

Assists in planning and coordinating care, gathering data under the supervision of aRegistered Nurse. Performs treatments/procedures and administers medication within state practice guidelines under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Follows-up with other associates, other disciplines, physicians, and others as necessary. Must have IV therapy II training.

Job Requirements

• Requires completion from accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program of nursing. Must maintain current State LPN license, AHA CPR for Healthcare Providers certification, and hospital mandatories.
• Has frequent interaction with physicians, nursing staff, other departments, patients and their families.
• Must have the sensitivity, maturity, and ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Mustpossess the ability to deal with varied types of patients and families in all situations that may arise.
• Recommended 1-year prior experience for charge nurse.
