Driver/Messenger Armed at Boise

Job Description

GardaWorld seeks PT Driver/Messengers for our Boise, ID Branch. The selected candidate is responsible for the transport of coin, currency, and other valuables. Candidate will issue and receive receipts of confirmation from customers to verify transfer of valuables. Candidate must be willing to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions. 

Job Requirements

• Requires a high school diploma/general equivalency diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Requires individual to be 21 years of age or older.
• 1-2 years of related experience is preferred.
• This position requires individual to obtain and maintain all required driver licenses and guard and gun permits or licenses on a current basis (ALL POSITIONS ARE ARMED) and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
• Heavy lifting required (50lbs+).
• May require individual to have and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (within six months of hire date) with no air-brake restrictions (applicable to branches with vehicles over 26,001 lbs and an acceptable driving record.
• The qualified candidate must be eligible to obtain a firearms and security permit as well as CDL Class B within six months of date of hire. 

• Must be able to communicate effectively in person and by radio.
• Individuals must be able to read and interpret written instructions.
• Individuals must be willing to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions.
• Strong customer service skills required.
