Journeyman Plumber (Licensed, Idaho)
Hours: Flexible, Compensated for On-Call
Pay: $26/hr
Great opportunity for Journeyman Service Plumber in Mountain Home, Idaho. Our client is a full mechanical contractor with offices in Boise and Mountain Home, ID. Their services include designing, installing and servicing plumbing and HVAC systems for commercial, residential, industrial and institutional clients. This is a tremendous opportunity to work independently with the support of a large team. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity for growth and to become entrenched in this small and vibrant community. Mountain Home is home to the 366th Fighter Wing of the Air Combat Command. This is a Full Time position looking to start immediately.

Key duties and responsibilities include:
Assemble pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing and welding equipment
High level of integrity, honesty, trust, and dependability
Strong written and oral communication skills with both external and internal customers
Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers and water heaters, and fixtures such as sinks and toilets, using hand and power tools
Repair and maintain plumbing, replacing defective washers, replacing or mending broken pipes, and opening clogged drains
Repairing and Maintaining Mechanical Equipment
Reside in Mountain Home to meet the required on-call requirements
Maintain a professional demeanor and excellent attendance/punctuality
Responsible for completing necessary paperwork in a timely manner
Ability to remain calm and professional at all times
Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks
Review blueprints and building codes and specifications to determine details and procedures
Locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, and fixtures in structures, using measuring instruments such as rulers and levels
Measure, cut, thread, and bend pip to required angle, using hand and power tools or machines such as pipe cutters, pipe-threading machines, and pip-bending machine
Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, and fixtures such as sinks and toilets, using hand and power tools
Repair and maintain plumbing, replacing defective washers, replacing or mending broken pipes, and opening clogged drains
Trunk Strength The ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without fatiguing
Requirements:
Qualified applicants must meet have a valid Idaho drivers license
MUST live in Mountain Home, Idaho or be willing to relocate.
Maintain a professional appearance.
Be reliable, responsible, and have good customer service skills.
Hold an Idaho State Journeymans License as a Plumber.
Experience:
5-10 years experience
