VOLT is recruiting for a rapidly growing family owned business in Nampa, Idaho. The company is an employee stock ownership company. The company sells uniforms and non-food products used in restaurants and other businesses throughout the U.S.A. and Canada.Duties:The successful applicant will Create, Design, and Edit digitized embroidery files from customer artwork. Work with customers (both internal and external) to create embroidery files as needed. Ensure accurate & timely conversion of graphic files to embroidery digitized format. Needs to be able to color up artwork for each order and generate any needed proofs requested by the customer. Edit digitized embroidery files from customers to ensure quality standards are met. Will work closely with Sales and Operations in the pre-production approval process and in production process. Responsible for assisting with the design of Custom Products and assisting embroidery production in other projects as needed. Job Requirements

Qualifications for this position would be a Degree in Graphic Design or Graphic Arts or equivalent experience / education combination. Experience with graphic design, multimedia design, art graphic design, web design, visual communication or related field.Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in digitizing, graphic designKnowledge of textiles, threads, and embroidery machines required.Knowledge and Familiarity of Tess software, Melco software and Barudan embroidery machines preferred.Must have excellent computer skills, with knowledge and familiarity of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat and Flash), Microsoft Office, preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. Must be able to read, write, and speak EnglishPortfolio review prior to hiring is requiredMust be a team player. A working knowledge of SAP ERP, and proficiency in Salesforce software is plus.
