Volt Workforce Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Industrial/Technical Customer Service Representative for our client in Boise, ID. This team supports local and global customers in industries such as Machine Manufacturing, Semi Conductor, Energy, Mining, Timber, and Food Processing. Our Rep will be interacting with clients via phone and email regarding our very specialized products, a responsibility which requires previous knowledge and experience in our field. This is NOT a call center position rather you will be the heart, soul, and front line communication with our cutting-edge clients. Job Requirements
- 5+ years in the industry of Process Controls and Instrumentation.
- Associate Degree of EE or EE would be a plus; this requirement can be offset with field experience.
- Must have working knowledge and be able to apply properly and quickly: PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, Power Supplies, Signal Conditioning, Terminal blocks, Panel Meters, Circuit Breakers, Disconnects, Inductive/photo/laser/pressure/capacitive, Encoders and other related sensor technology.
- Must be a highly motivated and creative individual with solid business skills and understanding.
- Must be able to manage several tasks simultaneously, work under time constraints and recognize value added, immediate and long term payback of our investment in time, resources and opportunity costs.
- The ideal candidate will need to have exceptional customer service skills and positive attitude.
- High comfort level working on a computer and keyboarding/typing skills. Should have experience in MSOffice Suite and be proficient at writing quotes with supporting attachments.
- Requires an exceptionally high level of detail, as youll be working with long part numbers. Accuracy is a must.
- Office hours are 7am 6:00pm, travel will not be required in this position.
- This position will require a pre-employment screening process such as interviews, reference checks, drug/background screening.
