Local accounting firm located in Meridian is looking for a senior associate to join our team in the continued growth of our practice. This is an ideal opportunity for a CPA with 5 years or more experience wishing to be part of a smaller, family-oriented business, while maintaining a high level of practice, and pursuing ownership opportunity. Our practice consists of a mixture of tax and accounting with concentrations in S-corporations, business consulting, estate planning and construction accounting. We serve a variety of industries including manufacturing, health care, financial, construction, non-profit, real estate, renewable energy, environmental sciences, and high-tech.
Responsibilities for this professional would include overseeing tax and accounting engagements, both in efficiency and performance, identifying client issues and developing client relationships, preparing individual and business tax returns of various complexities, tax planning and research. Experience with Lacerte, QuickBooks, payroll and payroll reporting, financial statement preparation and a good understanding of corporate and partnership taxation will assist in how quickly a successful transition is made with regard to our client base and professional opportunities.
