Volt Workforce Solutions is currently hiring health/disability insurance Sales Representatives for our client in the Boise, Idaho area. This is an on-site position, with immediate start date and an anticipated duration of 4-6 months. To apply, please respond directly to this job posting with your resume. Qualified candidates meeting client criteria will be contacted by a Volt recruiter.The Sales Reps will provide the public with health care protection through the sales and retention of individual policies generated by direct marketing campaigns, sales seminars and unsolicited leads. The majority of interactions will be conducted remotely via telephone and email.Additional responsibilities include:

• Achieve sales goals through various methods of prospecting potential clients, including responding to direct marketing leads, follow-up from referrals, birthday letters and seminar presentations.
• Responsible for all aspects of the sales process including direct market prospecting, coordinating and scheduling of sales seminars, appointments, presentations and follow-up after sale to individuals and groups.
• Maintain knowledge of all individual products in portfolio.
• Assure retention of current members by maintaining contact during the renewal periods or open enrollments, resolving concerns and conducting appropriate follow-up on open items.
• Document and track all sales leads and follow-up activity in the lead tracking system.
• Complete all applications, and documentation required for internal processes in a timely and accurate manner to assure efficient enrollment of individuals.
• Help promote and participate in sales initiatives as well as community outreach related to the company promotion of health awareness.

• Maintain State of Idaho disability and license by earning required Continuing Education (CE) credits.
• Monitor the products and practices of competitors and communicate pertinent information to management.
• Provide assistance to marketing specialists in development of member correspondence and information including: member handbook, education material, sales literature, renewal packets, and notice of program changes.

Job Requirements

• State of Idaho disability and health insurance license (or must be obtained within 45 days of hire if candidate is licensed in another state)
• Three years sales experience within the health care or health insurance industry
• Verbal and written communication
• Presentation & Negotiation skills
• Intermediate MS Office skills to include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Achieve sales goals through prospecting and lead management
• Generate and manage sales leads
• Retain current members
• Bachelors Degree (preferred, though not necessary)
• Interview, Drug/background screening will be required for this position
