Personal Lines Insurance Producer/CSR at Blackfoot

Job Description

An Idaho based independent insurance agency, is seeking a property & casualty licensed personal lines insurance agent with at least 2-5 years of experience selling personal lines insurance products. Candidates should be strategic thinkers who value honesty and possess a sense of urgency matched by integrity and an absolute commitment to client care. The Agent will be responsible for servicing all aspects of an assigned book of personal lines business as well as growing that book of business.

Job Requirements

The duties of the Agent include, but are not limited to:

Service existing accounts and develop new accounts

Develop and achieve minimum production volume consistent with sales objectives

Actively generate new leads through various sources (client referrals, community meetings, etc.)

Remarket existing accounts at clients request or as the market environment warrants
Handle all processing with client and/or company personnel

Execute coverage analysis: notify client of coverage gaps; provide client with quotation for additional coverages

Service existing book of Personal Lines business, as assigned or needed

Refer all leads, other than Personal Lines, to appropriate Department

Promote agency to insurance industry

Keep informed of industry developments through review of trade press and by attending company-training meetings on new products.

Attending classes, i.e. CISR, CIC, etc.

Review all renewals within established guidelines.

Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned by management

Job Requirements and Qualifications:
2+ years experience at an insurance agency in Personal Lines

Valid Property & Casualty/Life & Health Agents license

Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

Highly self motivated, positive, upbeat attitude, innovative, reliable, consistent, a person of high integrity and honesty, proactive problem solver

Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications, esp. Microsoft Office

College degree preferred

Exceptional organization and time-management skills

Applied Systems agency management system knowledge
