Job: Nursing Support

• Assists with clinical patient care, to ensure optimal delivery of quality care in a team-oriented manner.
• Assists nursing staff with admission process, including the transporting and assisting in the discharge of patients.
• Helps provide safety and protection of all Perioperative patients.
• Assists nursing staff with various duties and requests within the scope of his/her practice abilities.
• Sets up and ensures that all rooms are clean and stocked prior to each use.
• Requires knowledge of growth and developmental needs of patients and families.
• Must recognize and respond to the behaviors of patients and families in each age category and be able to demonstrate the special skills required to care for patients and their families according to standards

Job Requirements

Licensure / Certification: Successful completion and current certification from accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program and must have yearly hospital mandatories completed. Current AHA CPR for Healthcare Providers.Education: Requires a high school education or its equivalent. Must be willing to attend hospital and department orientation.Experience: Prefer previous CNA experience, keyboarding, professionalism, critical thinking and common sense, flexibility, communicate clearly and concisely, honesty, willingness to serve, clean and organized and service oriented. Basic computer skills and medical terminology are preferred.
