The preferred candidate will have 4+ years content development experience, working with at least one XML based content management system. As well, the preferred candidate will have experience with hardware and/or software systems, be flexible to rapid project changes, be able to work independently, and be well-organized. Responsibilities include:-Apply advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues and be regarded as subject matter expert.-Design and develop written and/or visual product related information, including hard copy, web, and online information.-Analyze customer information requirements and product specifications to define technical content strategy and plan.-Write, research, build, compile and test online information and/or set-up.-Load and test systems hardware to create information deliverables and provide feedback on ease of use and user interfaces to product development.-Adhere to standards and style document; as well as templates, scripts, style sheets, and graphic libraries to ensure common look and feel.-Interface with cross-function areas as a member of the development team.-Evaluate and understand data and determine necessary actions.-Advanced understanding of customer behavior in a web environment and authoring for support.Required Skills:-Experience with XML based authoring tools-Experience with at least one content management system-Microsoft Office Suite-Excellent writing and grammarEducation:BA degree or equivalent experienceContactCandidates interested in this position can apply on line at http://lionbridge.apply2jobs.com and reference position number GCE9194.Lionbridge is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
