Project Coordinator/Admin Support | PART TIME HOURS at Meridian

Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is presently seeking to hire a Part Time Project Coordinator for our client site in Caldwell, Idaho. This is estimated to be a 6-7 month temporary assignment. Qualified candidates meeting client criteria will be contacted by a Volt recruiter.The Project Coordinator will work a part-time schedule (approx. 20 hours per week) at a large Caldwell construction/job site work trailer. The project is currently scheduled for completion in February 2014. This role performs clerical and administrative tasks, such as:

  • Provides excellent customer service to vendors, customers (internal and external), and field employees.
  • May act as the main point of contact for field employees inquiries, depending on how staffing is coordinated within the division.
  • May assist General Superintendent with staffing coordination.
  • Enters job information in the accounting system (opens/closes jobs, clears committed costs).
  • Processes contracts, claims, change orders, and monthly billings.
  • Processes final billings (including retention). Completes A/R collection calls for Project Managers billings, as needed.
  • Provides assistance with the general staffing of construction projects.
  • Complies needed information (i.e., material purchases, sheet submittals, operation & maintenance manuals, etc.).
  • Obtains performance bonds, permits, and other miscellaneous items.
  • Processes miscellaneous paperwork and reports (i.e., job cost reports, weekly pending projects report, monthly WIP reports, A/R collection reports, and time cards).
  • Types and compiles miscellaneous documents (i.e., proposals, submittals).
  • Creates and maintains large job folders/job binders.
  • Assists with reception and phones. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Excellent communication, detail oriented, manages time, works independently, customer service focused
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years experience in administrative support work or project coordination.
  • Experienced in light accounting to include payroll, AR, reporting, and other paperwork.
  • Previous support experience within electrical, building, construction environments preferred.

Type: CONTRACT
Duration: 180 - 365 Days
Pay Rate: $13.00 - $13.50 Hourly DOE
