Showroom Sales Consultant at Meridian

Job Description

Sales consultant needed for our showroom in Meridian. Our fast-growing company sells high-end bath tubs and showers for general-purpose remodel, with a specialty in accessibility as well as aging-in-place applications. We soon will be expanding to carry other custom home products.

Included Responsibilities

• Complete quotations, sales orders and purchase orders in QuickBooks

• Check orders from other staff for accuracy
• Maintain contact with retail customers, contractors, builders, vendors and healthcare industry professionals; help to establish new relationships
• Maintain customer and prospect database
• Lead customers with qualified guidance through showroom and consult customers on products from ending with closing the sale
• Work closely with owners and other staff members in all aspects of running a successful showroom
• Work with identification and merchandising of new product offerings
• Track referral sources of new customers
• Help maintain the daily visual interior/exterior appearance of showroom
• Assist with booth staffing and manage logistics for occasional home/remodel shows

Job Requirements

• Knowledge of the homebuilding or remodeling industry
• Knowledge of Aging in Place, or senior care/home health care
• Superior customer service skills, strong sense of empathy and sound judgment
• Sound leadership ability, self-direction, organizational skills and ability to multitask
• The ability gain knowledge about our entire product line and updated products as they become available is a must
• Previous office experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and QuickBooks
• Excellent written and verbal skills
