If Home Federal Bank sounds like the exciting company where you would like to succeed, please read on about our great job opportunity for an Operations Specialist in Nampa, Idaho.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The Operations Specialist handles internal customers at our Helpdesk by solving routine software, hardware and procedural issues; troubleshoots bank systems; responds to questions and concerns that arise, documents issues communicates solutions; escalates technical issues to technology vendors; test solutions and communicates solutions to the end-user. The incumbent serves as liaison between the front-line personnel, back office functions, and Information Technology.  This position provides services to and supports all areas of the Bank. The Operations Specialist ensures quick and accurate responses to all end users and emphasizes a customer focus attitude and makes certain that service levels are adhered to and that procedures and processes are effectively implemented. The successful candidate also ensures that all issues are effectively prioritized, routed and escalated as well as maintains effective follow-up procedures on open issues to ensure effective resolution to achieve end-user satisfaction. Home Federal Bank offers a competitive base salary and incentive opportunity as well as a comprehensive and competitive benefits package. Home Federal Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer and dedicated to a diverse workforce. EEO/AA/D/V

Job Requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year of banking or in financial services area and call center experience in a support/helpdesk environment
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, as well as to write reports, manuals and business correspondence. 
  • Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish rapport and collaborative relationships
  • Must have the demonstrated language skills to effectively present information, both oral and written in a meeting, training or classroom situation, as well as one on one
  • Must maintain high degree of flexibility
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts, skills and ideas and apply them to daily job requirements
  • Extremely organized, detailed and reliable
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
