DOTNETNUKE developer

Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for an on a DotNetNuke Developer on a contract opportunity with a leading company in multimedia presentation tools.

Responsibilities:
The essential function of the DotNetNuke Developer is to build and maintain our DNN-based websites. This person will ensure all projects are compliant with current coding standards and follow proper development and testing procedures. The DNN Developer may also be involved in planning, designing, developing and/or updating HTML-based projects. The DNN Developer may work remotely but will be required to come to the office periodically depending on the project, and must be able to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with all levels of management. This position will require Daily Status Updates/Reports.
Other responsibilities may include aiding in the development of:

Current or new DNN websites, modules and mobile websites
DNN-based shopping cart and ecommerce services

Minimum requirements include:

Fluent understanding of Web technologies and networking
Experience developing DNN skins and modules
Must know Custom Modular Development with the ability to customize internals and modules
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server with understanding of database design
Experience designing in HTML5 and CSS3
Experience coding with JavaScript

Desirable skills and experience

Experience with SVN
Experience with JQuery
Experience with web service technologies (ie, SOAP, REST, etc.)
