Onsite Software Engineer III Lead



Primary Function
Provide systems requirement engineering support for After Market Assets

Primary Responsibilities
- Work with marketing team to understand and accurately document business requirements.
- Act as liaison between marketing team and technical team translating business requirements into detailed technical requirements.
- Take ownership for the requirements/feature backlog. Ensure accurate prioritization is maintained.
- Maintain status of backlog items, coordinate with program/project managers and lead engineers on sprint plans.
- Establish and track key metrics relative to the sprint process.
- Investigate tools, processes and best practices in use across LES for use with our program.
- Investigate, develop and administer tool chains that can be used to effectively manage the requirements definition, prioritization and planning process.
- Coordinate with Test leads to integrate test plans with requirements tools and process.
- Establish processes to take requirements through development stages from concept to test verification.
- Lead/participate in technical investigations as necessary to drive deeper understanding of requirements/features.
- Coordinate with partner organizations to understand, document, drive and track dependencies as necessary, e.g., OCV requirements in IT.

Minimum Requirements
Education:
- Typically 4 years of technical education & 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination
Experience:
- Experience with low level requirements, code samples, and tools.
- Experience developing in an agile environment
- Experience in Microsoft Team Foundation Server
- 4 to 5 years experience in writing technical specifications
- Demonstrated technical writing expertise
- Demonstrated history of development for a variety of platforms including C#.Net, Java, C++, and C in a variety of environments including Windows application development and Web development.
Skills:
- Effective planning, collaboration, & prioritizing skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Capable of learning and becoming productive in new languages and new development situations quickly.
- Work independently, react nimbly to changing circumstances, and deal well
- Able to achieve desired results from general objectives
