POWER is currently seeking a full-time Software Developer to work in our Boise or Hailey, ID office.  The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, supporting, and maintaining internal business systems software.Duties and Responsibilities:  Develop/design software applications and user interfaces.  Troubleshoot, analyze, and debug existing software systems.  Evaluate new technologies/practices and make recommendations for improvement.  Train, mentor, and collaborate with co-workers.   Follow and improve processes.  Work with business users, IT staff, and various levels of management.  Write product documentation, test plans, and specifications.  10% travel may be required. Qualifications:  At least 3 years of software development experience  Visual Studio, C#, and .NET Framework experience  HTML, Java Script, XML, and CSS experience  Experience with relational database development (creating stored procedures, database design, etc.)  VCS knowledge  Strong communication skills.  BS in Computer Science or similar field, or equivalent experience.  Good problem-solving skills and initiative to take ownership of tasks.  Ability to work effectively within a geographically distributed team. Preferred Knowledge:   Java development experience.  Python/Django experience.  Experience with design patterns.  Experience with reporting solutions such as SQL Server Reporting Services.  Experience with Oracle DB 10g/11g.  Experience with MS SQL Server.  Experience developing packages, procedures, functions, and database triggers using PL/SQL.  Functional and technical experience with Oracle e-Business Suite 11i/r12. Have fun, do good work, make money.
