JOB DESCRIPTION
CDI is currently seeking a Security Administrator for a contract to perm opportunity in Boise, ID!!

Key Responsibilities:
1. Will lead the GSOC team in any P1 and P2 incidents.
2. Will act as an interface for GSOC offshore team in front of the Customer.
3. Will convey the voice of customer by reactively / proactively identifying the intentions of the customer and putting it in front of GSOC to enable GSOC understand customer expectations.
4. Will be involved in regular meetings with the customer showcasing the performance of GSOC.
5. Will be responsible for maintaining a high level of business relationship with respect to security services.
6. Work towards continual service improvement plan and high level of customer satisfaction.
7. Will be involved in regular internal HCL meeting with RDU.
8. Will be involved in discussions on improving the overall performance of GSOC.
9. Will be involved in meetings with the Steering committee of Micron.
10. Will ensure that GSOC is able to achieve the defined SLAs with respect to delivery (Incident tickets, User Service Request, Project BCM, and Change Orders).

Skills considered a plus for the position:
1. The incumbent should have min 5 to 8 years of experience in network security framework.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of ITIL principles and processes.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of security domains and best practices.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, VISIO and PowerPoint.
5. Strong written and verbal communications skills with the demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with peers and communicate at all levels within the organization
6. Should have worked for global customer

Technical
7. Expert level understanding of networking & security concepts.
8. Technical certification on security technologies / products like CCNP Security / CISSP /CCIE etc.
9. The incumbent should have an expert level understanding of below:
Firewalls - Cisco Pix/ASA/FWSM
VPN - Nortel VPN Concentrators (IPSEC/SSL) / Cisco Any-Connect
IDS/IPS - McAfee IPS
Access Control - Microsoft IAS / NPS, Radius / TACACS, RSA Authentication Manager
Content Filtering - Microsoft TMG
10. Should have good analytical and problem solving skills.
11. Should have good understanding of End-point Security - McAfee EPO 4.5, VSE 8.8, VSES 1.0.2
12. Should have good understanding of Host IPS - McAfee HIPS 8.0
13. Should have good understanding of File integrity Management - Tripwire 8.1
14. Should have experience on Vulnerability Assessment - McAfee Foundstone.
15. The incumbent should have knowledge of SIEM tools.
16. Should have knowledge of Splunk.
