CUSTOMER SERVICE RECEPTIONIST - Nampa Full-Time 40 hours per week (Includes some evening hours until 8 pm and Saturday hours 9 to 5) DESCRIPTION: " Greet and assist clinic patients in accessing needed care in professional, courteous and efficient manner. " Manage incoming calls. " Prepare necessary financial records for patients required for registration. Obtaining documents and records for accurate input. " Collect and post patient payments. " Schedule appointments. " Screen patients for various financial and service program eligibility. " Performs other general office tasks. " Keep patients informed about wait times and ensure waiting area is clean and comfortable. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Knowledge of medical office systems and designs, includes cash handling. 2. Ability to read and follow oral and written instructions. 3. Ability to learn Medicare, Medicaid and major insurance carrier regulations, procedures and benefit plans and to gain good working knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding systems. 4. Excellent people/phone skills and must be detailed oriented and able to multi-task. Proven record of customer service excellence. 5. Able to work in a busy environment. 6. 2+ years of basic computer experience, including Microsoft Word and email. 7. Basic math skills, including cash handling. 8. Strong interest in working with underserved population. 9. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Typing speed of 45 to 50 WPM. 2. Three years medical office experience. 3. Strong computerized accounting and word processing skills.
