JOB SUMMARYAs a Customer Service Representative, youll be an integral part of our sales team at TrailersPlus, the largest and fastest growing trailer group in the country. Owned and operated by the Interstate Group in Nampa, Idaho, TrailersPlus currently has 38 retail stores that rely heavily on our Customer Service Center. Our small team of Customer Service Representatives interacts with customers who are inquiring about our products and services. This position requires efficiency in building rapport with clients, gathering information, data entry, operating a phone system and transferring phone calls to the appropriate TrailersPlus location. Customer Service Representatives are paid an hourly wage and are eligible for monthly bonuses.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Receive customer inquiries by phone, analyze requests, provide information requested or ascertains whom can best Respond to customer requests via telephone, email or CRM system.
• Respond to customers with the highest level of customer service exercising courtesy, concern, professionalism and Keep records of transactions and update/maintain databases of information.
• Maintain knowledge of product line, prices, various marketing promotional services, and similar data, as required.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure highest level of customer service is provided.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of standards, policies and procedures regarding customer service.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required and as assigned by supervisor or manager.
DETAILED FUNCTIONS
• Provide answers to customer inquiries about Cargo/Utility/Sport Trailer specifications, availability and pricing.
• Follow up on customer inquiries by taking specific action in a timely manner following company policies and Help customer determine best options by asking discovery questions.
• Provide assistance to store locations on an as needed basis to assist with customer follow up and scheduling.
• Look up customer records using internal proprietary CRM.
• Efficiently handle incoming calls from customers inquiring about product availability, pricing and general questions.
• Maintain strong interpersonal relations with peers and other departments.
• Provide customer assistance in a positive, professional, customer-centric manner.
• Log and track customer calls in CRM and research, document and recommend new methods or modifications.
• Ensure customer and business confidentiality.
• Accountable for personal time management and call activities.
• Engage in ongoing decisions concerning the implementation of new customer service policies and procedures.
• Thrive as a team player in a continuously changing environment.
Job Requirements
EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND• One (1) years experience in providing quality customer service, preferably in a call center setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Pleasant telephone voice and manner.
• Logical problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to operate phones, email and other basic office equipment.
• Experience in CRM used to store, retrieve and compile customer information and notes.
• Ability to compose interdepartmental correspondence in an accurate and professional manner.
• Understanding of basic spreadsheet software.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• High school education or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older.
