Distribution Manager at Nampa

Franz Family Bakeries is looking for an experienced Distribution Manager for our Nampa/Salt Lake Division. This position will be based in Nampa, ID.This position manages a 24/7 shipping and transportation operation. Ensures timely, accurate and safe delivery of bakery products to sales depots and other FFB locations. Oversees employees including Forepersons, Transportation Drivers and Checkers. Ensures compliance with all DOT regulations. Responsible for determining and the implementation of optimal usage of all shipping equipment and employees.Qualified applicants will operate with a sense of "ownership" and professionalism and work in compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.Requirements:-Experience supervising warehouse, distribution, shipping or transportation employees.-Previous management experience.-Must have a commitment to safety and a proven track record of safety success.-Good interpersonal skills.-Good computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office Suite products and internal programs.-Functional knowledge of DOT regulations.-Ability to work in a team environment.-Must be willing to work split days off.The bakery is looking forward to interviewing candidates dedicated to bringing knowledge and enthusiasm to our management team.
