Job Description

Raymond Handling Concepts is looking for an experienced mechanic totroubleshoot, serviceand repair forklifts and provide outstanding customer service.

As a RaymondForklift Field Service Technician you will be given a territory that becomes your own where you will be required to fix and maintain mostly Raymond electric pallet jacks, orderpickers, reach trucks, swing reaches, and sideloaders, along with some electric and gas carts and sweepers.

As a new service technician you will take part in our extensive, six-month paid Raymond Accelerated Technical Training (RATT) class with one of our Certified Technical Trainers. After graduating the training program you will receive continuous training on specialty equipment, new products, and product revisions, as well as regular refresher programs and are certified by Raymond at two or more advanced levels.

All training is paid andconducted in house in order to ensure that you will have complete confidence in your job as a Raymond Technician.

Each Field Service Technician is given avan, gascard,Nextel radio/cell phone, anda Toughbookfor billing the job andto stay in contact with Service Dispatch, the Parts Department and Field Service. Raymond Handling Concepts leads the industry in mobile technology (iTech) allowing our technicians to complete work as efficiently as possible in order to ensure fast response time in emergency situations to our customers. Each technician is equipped with a van fully stocked with parts based on the population of Raymond trucks in his/her operating zone.

Job Requirements

To become part of our winning team you will need to have1 - 5yearsprior mechanical experience or equivalent education.Working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems is a plus. Familiarity and ownership of hand tools is required (you will have time to build your collection and learn from senior technicians what tools are key). Knowledge of internal combustion engines is helpful, but not required. Technicians must be able to speak and write English. Being computer savvy is highly encouraged due to the mobile technology used by our field technicians. Great customer service skills are a must!

Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical. Must be able to bend, stoop, sit for long periods of time, twist, reach, pull and lift at least 50lbs and maneuver up to125lb with assistance of equipment. Must be able to provide a clean driving record.
