GENERAL Electronic/Signal Technician Applications are now being accepted for an Electronic/Signal Technician in the Traffic Operations Division. Starting wage is $15.67-$18.05 per hour. Primary Responsibilities: The Electronic Technician performs technical duties associated with the installation, maintenance and line loca- tion of traffic signal equipment. The duties include: install, maintain and repair of various units for traffic control; consult and advise representatives of public utilities to coordinate mainte- nance and operations of traffic signal and lighting systems; locates and marks underground signal facilities for utilities and construction projects; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with utility representatives, the general public and other district em- ployees; and assures completion of all documentation of daily activities as required. Subject to on call duty 24 hour for a 7 day week on a rotating schedule. Qualifications: Requires good knowledge of electronic digital computers, micro processors, peripheral equipment and logic circuits. Possession of a valid Idaho Class "B" CDL drivers license is required and a State Journeyman Electrical License is required.
