The primary customer base for this ASM will be the Northern Idaho K-12 school districts where you will meet face-to-face during site visits, or at regional IETA meetings and IAPSS meetings and activities. You may participate in Idaho Education Network (IEN) meetings at the State to stay abreast of issues that may have a positive or negative impact on ENA’s success in Idaho. The job requires building relationships with key decision makers at the school district that result in new business, customer satisfaction, customer retention, and achieving ENA’s business goals.
In this position, ASM’s need to understand customer’s unique needs that take into consideration curriculum policies, the politics of each school district, each assigned school district’s goals, and what is required from a network or curriculum technology (video conferencing equipment, online learning, etc.) perspective to achieve those goals.
ASM’s must continuously develop and maintain a technical and process understanding of network managed services, ENA’s product and service solutions, the E-Rate program, especially as it applies to ENA’s product and service offerings, in order to meet customer satisfaction, customer retention, and revenue targets.
Job Requirements
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relationship management and direct sales experience ideally in a K-12 market. Candidates must be competent in enterprise technology solutions. A Bachelors degree in marketing, business, engineering or other technology fields is preferred. This position requires general business, marketing, financial, managed data, voice, and video services technology acumen. Experience in the managed services market and knowledge of the E-Rate program is preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
This is a full-time position that offers a base salary plus commission and benefits. This position requires extensive travel with approximately 20% being overnight travel and 70% being day travel. Qualified candidates must have a valid driver’s license and a driving record that enables them to be eligible for coverage under ENA’s liability policy.
