Job: Imaging

Independently performs 2-D echocardiograms, cardiac Doppler, and color flow imaging tests according to departmental policies, procedures and professional standards. Prepares and positions patients and imaging equipment in a safe, competent and productive manner, incorporating age-specific factors as appropriate. Assists physicians with stress echo and transesophageal echo (TEE) procedures. Follows appropriate testing procedures, integrates and relates data generated by testing procedures, and assesses questionable or erratic results.Schedule: This is a full-time position, scheduled to work approximately 40 hours per week. Will primarily work Monday-Friday days, but must be available for on-call coverage.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Graduate of an Echocardiography or other related allied health program required

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer RDCS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)-or registry eligible required

BLS certification required

Prefer 6 months to 1 year previous echocardiography experience

Requires good interpersonal communication skills and customer service orientation

Computer skills helpful
