Job Description
To supervise the operation, planning, development, administration, security, and support of the network infrastructure (includes LAN/WAN, server, storage, Exchange) and the Data Center operations.
Required Experience:
* Five (5) years in Information Technology
* Proven record working with business customers, technology owners, and vendors
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
Knowledge of:
* Computer networking
* Server and storage virtualization technologies
* Server operations and Operating Systems
* Microsoft Active Directory
* Microsoft Exchange
* Application integration and interoperability
* Security for networks and applications
* Network, server, and data storage technologies
* Data Center operations
* Project management
Skills:
* Effective written and verbal communication
* Analytical and problem solving
* Innovative and analytical thinking
* Planning and organization
* Microsoft Office - Intermediate
Ability to:
* Coach and mentor a technical team
* Develop and implement process plans, service level agreements, and meaningful metrics to achieve operational excellence
* Define, develop, and implement infrastructure and network security best practices
* Set objectives to effectively manage the team and the supported technologies
* Develop strategic and tactical plans to effectively deliver and manage systems
* Effectively work with, influence and lead business and technical teams and individual users
* Gather business and technical requirements and align resources appropriately to deliver high quality and timely systems that meet those requirements.
* Translate business needs into IT solutions that solve business problems.
* Analyze and solve complex problems
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelors degree in Computer Sciences or Business Administration
* Supervisory experience
* Disaster recovery planning and methods knowledge
Position reports to: Director, IS Operations
Starting Salary (Grade 20): $82,133 - $102,666
