Customer Service Specialist at Boise

Job Description

Responsibilities: This position involves a large amount of clerical work in addition to inside sales such as initiating sales and responding to customer(s) needs. Provides assistance to outside sales staff and product managers. Assists in developing marketing programs, may have key product responsibility. May be required to work in addition to normal business hours for inventories, cycle counts, promotions, branch meetings, and business travel. Participation in branch and job group meetings required.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: Building products knowledge beneficial. Knowledge of operation of office equipment, such as PC, calculators, computer software, etc. May require proficiency in utilizing computer software applications necessary for performing job responsibilities. Ability to understand and apply mathematical calculations and concepts involving fractions, decimals, percentages, etc. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently or with teams/groups.


Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor degree in business or marketing preferred.
