Position Summary:

Babcock & Wilcox Shaw Remediation, LLC (BWSR), an industry leader in providing decontamination and dispositioning (D&D) services and performing nuclear facility upgrades and construction projects, has openings for Engineers at the Naval Reactors Facility in Idaho Falls, ID.The successful candidate will be a multifaceted project engineer responsible for:

• Performing detailed engineering to support construction and infrastructure upgrade projects in a nuclear industry.
• Preparing comprehensive work procedures to perform construction and infrastructure upgrade activities.
• Maintaining project-related documentation and preparing required reports.
• Maintaining knowledge of technical requirements applicable to the assigned scope of work.

Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or matter. Position requires U.S. Citizenship with (no dual citizenship) ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance which involves an extensive criminal and financial background investigation and previous employment reference verifications.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• B.S. Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Civil/Structural preferred) with a minimum of 5 years experience.
• A current DOE clearance is a plus.MUST be able to obtain and maintain a DOE "L" clearance. The ability to obtain and maintain radiological dosimetry in the Naval Reactors Program.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Design or structural engineering experience is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in the nuclear or radiological field is desirable.
