Part-Time Clinician (Behavioral Health) at Meridian

Job Description

To conduct utilization, quality management and/or case management activities in the behavioral health field in accordance with policies and procedures.

Required Experience:
* Two years direct patient care experience

Required Education:
* Masters Degree (preferably in a behavioral health-related field)

Required Licenses and/or Certifications:
* Licensed Clinical Social Worker ( LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), or PhD with a current unrestricted license

Ability to:
* Contribute to program goals and objectives in containing behavioral health care costs and maintaining a high quality medical delivery system through the program procedures for conducting activities.
* Perform telephonic review for inpatient and outpatient services using InterQual criteria.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Experience in utilization review, quality assurance, discharge planning or other cost management programs preferred
* Experience using InterQual criteria or Milliman criteria for behavioral health preferred
* Behavioral health experience in multiple levels of care for Behavioral Health Utilization Management/Case Management preferred-substance abuse and mental health
* Knowledge of utilization management/case management
* Call center knowledge

Position reports to: Manager, Behavioral Health
Starting Salary (Grade 15P): $24.43/hour - $30.54/hour
Part-Time - 20 hours/week
