Job Description



Universal Worker/Medication Aide - Assisted Living
As a Universal Worker/Medication Aide - Assisted Living you will be responsible for providing care to assigned residents in a caring, safe and efficient manner.

Additional responsibilities of the Universal Worker/Medication Aide - Assisted Living include:
Providing residents wtih assistance with dressing and undressing and maintaining proper clothing and hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
Assisting in tasks related to dining and food preparation.
Supporting, leading, and participating in resident-centered activity programs.
Assisting residents with self-administration of medications.
Following up with observation and documentation of resident response to medication received.

Job Requirements



Universal Worker/Medication Aide - Assisted Living
To qualify for the Universal Worker/Medication Aide - Assisted Living, you must have effective communication skills and be able to work with individuals of all ages.

Additional requirements of the Universal Worker/Medication Aide - Assisted Living include:
Ability to measure and comprehend certain quantities.
Basic ability to communicate and comprehend in the dominant language of the facility.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

The Community Living Program, located in Boise, Idaho, is seeking motivated applicants to work full-time in an in-home setting. We provide 24-hour Supported Living and Residential Habilitation Services to individuals with sustained Traumatic Brain Injuries.

Duties include;
Cooking
Cleaning
Medication Assistance
ADL assistance
Assistance with social skills
Behavior management
Activity planning and implementation
Transportation (must have valid drivers license)
Other duties per job description

CNA and/or 6 months experience in home health, or related field preferred. Preference given to those with CNA.

CPR/First Aide Required
Medication Assistance Course Required
Valid Drivers License
